About Me
I am a licensed professional counselor within the state of Virginia and have had this license since 2006. I earned my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in 2018 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychological (Washington, DC campus). I have worked within the mental health field for the last 23 years and during this time, I have held a variety of positions such as therapist, clinical director, resource supervisor, rehabilitation specialist, home-based counselor, and social worker. These varied positions have allowed for me to treat and encounter an array of mental health disorders and situations. My professional journey over the years has shown me that regardless of the psychological symptoms that a person may present with, everyone wants to be genuinely listened to and acknowledged and once they feel that this has been established, they become more comfortable embarking on this journey.
